How we use it

• To operate the platform: sign-in, event applications, project submissions, judging, and host decisions.
• To display and share your submissions and profile with event hosts, judges, and — where galleries are public — other visitors.
• To operate and promote the platform and its events, including showcasing submitted projects.
• To send transactional emails (decisions, links, receipts).
• If you opted in, occasional product updates from us.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use them to track you across other websites.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run the service, including Google (sign-in) and Firebase (authentication, database, and file storage). Data you provide is processed and stored by these services on our behalf, subject to their own terms.

Sharing

We share your information with the hosts and judges of events you join, with the service providers above, and as needed to comply with law or protect the platform. We may share aggregated or de-identified information freely.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time from your profile page. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at hello@hackathoncompany.com.
